What's Involved.

When it’s time to move your house to your land, as owner's you are welcome on the shift. Dave and the crew leave at midnight under police and pilot escort. We relocate your home and if the house is cut into two sections, this is done carefully and with all consideration to the aesthetics of the building and all sections of the house are securely tied to the trailer when loading. Where a part of the roof has been removed to reduce height, tarps are used to prevent water damage. The owner will be required on site at daybreak to ensure the house is in the right position before unloading. The unloading, rejoining sections of the building and roof placement are usually finished on the day of arrival at your land.

Prices quoted are G.S.T. inclusive and cover the purchase and the removal of the building to the new site within our surrounding shires, including up to Gympie shire in the price and any further distance, an additional charge may apply. Houses are included from the depot’s location to within 100km then there is a charge thereafter.

All our prices include stumping your house on new steel stumps to a height of 600mm above ground but G.S.T. is applicable on all extra work.

Insurance

  • All our work is insured by QBCC
  • Public Liability on all of our jobs
  • Building's insured by us against structural damage from commencement of our work until lowered onto foundations

Additional work

Used houses are structurally completed but no services connected in the price. We can help you arrange tradesman to complete your house, but in most instances it will be cheaper for you to arrange this with your local tradesman.

Other costs involved in a removal that you will need to consider.

  • Council Bond
    Ranging from $8,000 to $70,000. Each council requires a bond. Although you don't need to pay cash it is possible to use a bank guarantee.
  • Soil Tests, Engineers Reports, Plans, Septic Designs and all Council Lodgment Fees.
    Ranging from say $6500 up to $8000. This does not include any town planning fees. We can help you organize and lodge all the required documents to council. We can meet you at the council to do so. We do not charge an administration fee on our houses. It is the owners responsibility to pay for all the fee’s that may be required.
  • Plumbing Normal Septic
    $8,000 - $10,000 or Treatment Plant (HSTP) usually ranging from $12,000 - $15,000 installed at your home.
  • Power
    $5,000 - $8,000
  • Cyclone Proofing The Roof To W41
    $2,500 – Subject to the size of your home.
  • Extra Footage
    Could be charged depending on the angle your house is stumped
  • Renovations To Your Home
    Any personal touches or changes you would like to make to your home.
  • Stumping Highset to Legal Height
    Stump the house highset to legal height of 2.7mt highest approx $10,000 - $14,000 depending on how many stumps are needed to stump the house. If you require steel beams these can be priced up once we have the plans.
